AppList jailbreak tweak updated by Ryan Petrich to work with iOS 7.1.X

iOS 7.1 Jailbreak
The Pangu jailbreak was released yesterday, but there are certainly some tweaks that are broken due to the fact that it is made for use with iOS 7.1. One of those tweaks is AppList, a utility used within countless other jailbreak tweaks, but Ryan Petrich has already released an update on his personal Cydia repository that makes it compatible with iOS 7.1.X.

AppList is a useful tweak which searches your iOS device for all the apps that are currently installed on your device and — appropriately — lists them for use in other tweaks. You may know of AppList from popular tweaks like “Poof” which let you hide home screen icons, and other tweaks similar to “JellyLock” which let you choose apps to be displayed for quick access on the lock screen.
Here’s how to install Ryan’s updated version of the tweak, as shared by a user over at the /r/jailbreak subreddit:
  1. Fire up Cydia
  2. Tap on Sources in the bottom bar
  3. Tap edit then add
  4. Add the following repo:
  5. After the repo is added install the update now available to Applist
While many critical tweaks are indeed broken on iOS 7.1.X for the time being, be sure to check out our list of tweaks that seem to be working perfectly fine. If you haven’t yet jailbroken your iOS 7.1.X device, be sure to read up on the Pangu jailbreak and check out our how-to guide.
