Costco is now selling iPhones and iPads again, with some caveats

A few years back, Costco was out of the loop when it came to Apple’s then-current iPad, and the retailer responded by dropping all of Apple’s products in due course. It looks like the times have changed, though, as some Apple-branded products are now available for your purchasing pleasure.
As reported by 9to5Mac, there are a few models from Apple’s iPhone lineup, as well as the iPad family, that have become available through Costco, but only if you make your purchase online and you want to sign up for Verizon, Sprint or AT&T. If you’re a T-Mobile subscriber, or plan to be, you’ll have to find yourself at a specific Costco wireless kiosk (so call ahead).

If you’re in the market for a new iPhone 5s with 16GB of built-in storage, then Costco has you covered for only $77.99, through AT&T, Verizon or Sprint. That’ll net you about $120 versus other retailers, but you might see a price difference for the T-Mobile variant, as you’ll have to visit that aforementioned kiosk. Moreover, if you want the gold T-Mobile iPhone, you’re out of luck, apparently. If you want an iPhone 5c? Well, you’ll need to be an AT&T subscriber (or potential one, at least), and pony up $99.99 for the 16GB variant.
You can get yourself a Verizon-based iPad mini or iPad Air for $419.99 or $519.99, respectively. You can pick up the same memory model for T-Mobile at select wireless kiosks in Costco locations, but it looks like Sprint or AT&T iPads aren’t part of the deal.
There are some real caveats here, but if you really wanted to get your Apple-branded product, and you are looking for one of the select models listed, at least there are options available to you now.
