Apple’s list of CarPlay partners grows, now includes Mazda, Fiat and more

Apple CarPlay
Apple’s CarPlay was officially launched in March, 2014, and since then it has seen plenty of adoption from the auto manufacturing industry. Chevrolet already has a vehicle on the road that supports the platform, and other manufacturers are lining up to offer their own options.
The list of supporters for CarPlay keeps growing for Apple, which is adding several new manufacturers from the Fiat Chrysler group. They include: Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep and Ram. On top of that, if that’s not enough for you, Mazda has reportedly also joined the CarPlay supporters group as well. We already know that Hyundai has their 2015 Sonata coming off the line with CarPlay in tow, and Audi just recently announced their own support as well.
As far as manufacturers go, Apple’s CarPlay will see the light of day through the likes of BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Ford, GM and Honda at some point in the future — many of which should land before the end of 2014.
Are you excited to try out CarPlay in your own vehicle?
