ColorfulVolume lets you customize the Volume HUD on iOS 7 [Jailbreak Tweak]

ColorfulVolume
Since the release of the iOS 7 jailbreak around six months ago, there have been a myriad of jailbreak tweaks released that color different elements of the user interface. ColorfulVolume is the latest extension that fits that criteria, allowing you to customize the Volume HUD on jailbroken iPhones running iOS 7 or later. Read ahead for a full rundown of how the tweak works.
ColorfulVolume lets you set a custom color and title for the Volume HUD systemwide. After installing the tweak, enable it through the Settings app using the main toggle switch. Then, you can either manually adjust the RGB sliders to change the color of the Volume HUD, or toggle on a feature that randomizes the color each time the volume is changed.
There is also a text field for setting a custom title for the Volume HUD, as seen by my “Loud Noises” example in the screenshots above. Simply leave this field blank if you want to use the default title. If you want to extend the custom color and title to apply to the ringer as well, there is a toggle switch that can be turned on for that as well. There are no other options to configure.

Overall, this is a simple tweak that is most useful for those that finely customize or theme their iPhone. We’ve already seen a handful of jailbreak tweaks that are very similar to this one, but ColorfulVolume is one of the first with support for iOS 7.1.1 and later. Better yet, it is a free package on Cydia in the default BigBoss repository. If you give it a spin, let us know how it works for you.
