LollipopUI: Jailbreak tweak brings Android 5.0 Lollipop’s power-off menu to iOS 8

Android 5.0 Lollilop is the latest version of Android operating system by Google that has been made available for select devices. If you’re interested to make iOS 8 look a little like Android Lollipop, you should check out a beta jailbreak tweak known as LollipopUI.
The tweak, still under development by CP Digital Darkroom, aims to bring some of Android Lollipop’s UI to iOS 8. One such example is the power off interface which the package currently supports.
Instead of displaying the power off slider when you hold down the Lock/Sleep button on your iPhone, the tweak changes the interface to that of Android Lollipop’s power off interface by displaying a menu on the screen with several options.
The menu appears as a pop-up box with three options that allow you to switch off, reboot or respring your iOS device. The power off menu looks quite similar to that of Android Lollipop except that it features respring and reboot buttons as well.
Since LollipopUI is still in beta, this is the only UI change that the tweak will bring but the developer mentions that more UI concepts will be coming soon in future updates.
Once you install LollipopUI, there are no settings to configure. Simply hold down the Lock button and you’ll notice the new look of the power off interface.
Since the tweak is still in the beta phase, you won’t be able to find it on one of the default Cydia repos. To install it on your iPhone, you’ll first need to add the following new repo to Cydia:

LollipopUI supports both iOS 7 and iOS 8 devices and is worth checking out if you’re fond of Android Lollipop’s UI. Let us know what you think about the new power off interface once you’ve installed the tweak.
